September 6th Local Flower Arrangement Workshop

Join us on Saturday, September 6th from 11-12 at 43rd Street Studios to learn with Ceres Botanicals about how to compose your own custom arrangement of locally grown florals in a vase from Throws Like a Girl Ceramics

June Mena is a floral designer who founded Ceres Botanical, a Richmond-based design studio focused on highlighting local flowers in the creation of custom arrangements. She began her floral career as a grower, working on Prospect Hill Flower Farm, near Richmond, VA. After designing bouquets for the farmer’s market, she began to turn to cut flowers and found she was drawn to creating unique table centerpieces. She currently designs for local restaurants, weddings, and other events, utilizing sustainable design principles and a naturalistic, lush style.
